ENGLISH CLASS
Our program is targeted towards a broad range of students ranging from Pre-Kindergarten/Elementary students to senior citizens. The English level being taught varies from "Beginner’s" English to "Advanced' English.
- Each teacher will be teaching up to 240 hours per Teaching term (two months), 6-7 hours a day.
There are a total of 6 Teaching Terms in a year and we start a term in January, March, May, July, September, and November.
- Classes taught are generally from Monday to Thursday. (There have been a few schools that offer Friday special classes).
- Textbooks and lesson materials are provided by SDALS and are based on a predetermined schedule.
- There are 32 teaching days in one Teaching term.
- There are predetermined vacation days known as "term breaks." At the end of each teaching term, you will have anywhere from 1-5 days* of paid vacation along with national holidays.
